OREANDA-NEWS. November 12, 2008. The Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS Russia) recognized that the Federal Marine and River Transport Agency of the Russian Federation violated Federal Law "On State and Municipal Procurement of Goods, Works and Services" and issued a determination to eliminate the violations, reported the press-centre of FAS Russia.

The case was initiated upon a petition of "RADIOMA Engineering" Ltd. The Petitioner complained that the Federal Marine and River Transport Agency had violated the law in a competitive tender for reconstructing the information system for navigation safety "Integrated Digital Network "Belomorsko-Onezhskogo GBU VPiS".

The Petitioner stated that final scores for bids evaluation and comparison had not matched the requests to the bidders.

Having investigated the case, FAS Russia found the complaint justified and issued a determination to eliminate the violations. FAS Russia also initiated administrative proceedings against the agency's officials under Part 1 Article 7.30 of the Code of the Russian Federation on Administrative Violations.
