OREANDA-NEWS. November 17, 2008. Microcredit Bank will help small businesses and private entrepreneurs, especially in rural areas, to launch and develop their businesses, the presidential decree "On measures for further expansion of activity of Microcredit Bank joint-stock commercial bank" said.

The decree set the main tasks of the bank. It said that the bank will help to form businesses to form start-up capital for creation of new enterprises and jobs via allocation of targeted soft credits and expand their businesses through microcrediting. At the same time, the credited enterprises should direct their efforts to production of ready products, saturate internal market and create new jobs.

It will also help businesses and farmers to buy modern equipment and mini-technologies to re-equip and modernize their production though microleasing.
 
Microcredit Bank will also assist entrepreneurs to organize exhibitions, fairs, advertisement campaigns and promote their products in external and internal markets.

Among other tasks are rendering wide-scale banking services to its clientele and attraction of soft credits, investments and grants of international institutions and foreign banks to expand services in microleasing and microcrediting.
