OREANDA-NEWS  On 18 November was announced, that Interbrand, an international brand consultancy corporation, made a public release of the rating of Russia’s most valuable brands representing 40 leaders in a whole range of industries (the material was published in Kommersant-Money Magazine, Issue No 44 /701/ 10.11 dd. 16.11.2008). IJSC Ingosstrakh is the only insurance company that has been on this rating for the fourth year in sequence.  The expert team that rated the candidates pursuant to a methodology certified by lead auditors believe that the value of IJSC Ingosstrakh as a brand in 2008 amounts to RUR 202 mln 260 k. This year the company has moved two steps upwards from 23rd position it held in 2007 to 21st position.

According to Vladimir Kleimenov, Head of the PR Service of IJSC Ingosstrakh, the value of Ingosstrakh brand is primarily linked to the reasonable balance of corporate and retail business, weighted approach to implementation of the corporate regional strategy and stable financial situation of the insurer. The company meets all of its commitments, and in October this year Ingosstrakh’s reliability was reconfirmed by Standard & Poor`s International Rating Agency.

The materials published in the magazine provide a detailed insight into the brand value assessment technology. The assessment was primarily focused on the geography of sales and availability of transparent financial reporting in the public domain. While working out the rating of the brands, the expert team did not request the nominees to deliver information and disposed solely of the information available from public sources and official bodies.
