OREANDA-NEWS. November 18, 2008. Since the beginning of 2008, the number of sms-banking users has increased over eightfold – as of 10.11.2008 sms-banking service is available for over 13 thousand customers of the Bank.

According to Ihor Shevchenko, the Head of Retail Business Products Sales Department, Bank 'Finance and Credit', "the service has started to expand intensely only since the beginning of 2008. Having gathered pace, we are determined to widen capabilities of the service by introducing modern options. Even now, customers can make use of not only standard range of sms-services, but also notification about Bank's new products, promotion campaigns, offers and loyalty programs, etc."
At the moment, sms-banking users have a possibility to control the account, cash flow and, thus, plan own budget by receiving sms from Bank. Moreover, with the help of short messages the Bank informs the customers about re-issue (at the expiry date or in case of early re-issue) blocking of a bank card, termination of credit limit, etc.
