OREANDA-NEWS. November 18, 2008. In the days of winter holidays South Western Railway enables additional trains the majority of which will travel in Western direction.

Now the following additional trains have been introduced №207/208 Kyiv-Uzhgorod: from Kyiv – at 15:52 according to the schedule from December 25, 2008 to January 4, 2009 (except 31.12.2008). Arrival to Uzhgorod at 9:53. Departure from Uzhgorod at 14:51 from December 26, 2008 to January 5, 2009 (except January 1 and 4, 2009). On January 4 from Uzhgorod to Kyiv train №505/506 will depart at 22:48.

Train №537/538 Kyiv-Uzhgorod-Kyiv has been introduced: departure from Kyiv – at 19:58 from December 26, 2008 to January 11, 2009 daily, except December 31, 2008 and January 6, 2009. Departure from Uzhgorod at 21:04 from December 27, 2008 to January 12, 2009, except January 1 and 7, 2009.

Train №505/506 Kyiv-Uzhgorod-Kyiv will travel from December 25 to 30, 2008: departure from Kyiv at 0:27, from Uzhgorod – at 22:48.

Train №219/220 Kyiv-Ivano-Frankivsk-Kyiv will depart from the capital starting from December 27, 2008 to January 11, 2009 daily at 0:56, and from Ivano-Frankivsk – at 20:15 starting from December 27, 2008 to January 11, 2009 (except January 1 and 7).

So, today passengers are able to buy tickets for the New Year and Christmas holidays. Realization of railway travel documents starts 45 days before the departure date. South Western Railway urges to buy the tickets now as railroadmen strive to analyze the expected passenger flows for the holidays in advance and to response properly to the demand of consumers – to plan and organize trailers and introduce, if necessary, additional trains.
