OREANDA-NEWS. November 19, 2008. The Central Bank of the Russian Federation has completed the registration of an increase in the charter capital of LLS “BTA Bank” (Moscow), a subsidiary of BTA Bank JSC (Kazakhstan). With 7,200,000,000 (seven billion, two hundred million) ruble increase, the Bank’s charter capital now totals 12,440,739,000 (twelve billion, four hundred and forty million, seven hundred and thirty-nine thousand) rubles, reported the press-centre of BTA Bank.

As a result of the additional capitalization, LLS “BTA Bank” (Moscow) will remain a subsidiary of BTA Bank JSC (Kazakhstan). BTA Bank JSC (Kazakhstan) will keep controlling the Russian subsidiary operations on the basis of an option agreement signed between BTA Bank JSC (Kazakhstan) and other participants of LLS “BTA Bank” (Moscow).

BTA Bank JSC (Kazakhstan) retains a majority of seats on the Board of Directors, the right to appoint management and influence management decisions.
