OREANDA-NEWS. On November 20, 2008 The Uzbek-Italian Joint Venture Roison-Candy was launched in Tashkent. The participants of the opening ceremony dedicated to the occasion said that favorable investment climate established in Uzbekistan, necessary conditions and benefits for doing joint business with foreign investors reinforced the interest of many oversea firms and companies to expand their presence at the Uzbek market.

The Uzbek-Italian Joint Venture Roison-Candy was established by the Uzbek Limited Liability Company Roison Electronics with partnership of Italian transnational company Candy Group. New Company is specialized to produce various domestic appliances, in particular, refrigerators and laundry washers based on the cutting-edge technologies.

The Candy Group began its activity in 1945, and produces domestic techniques over thousand trademarks. The Company exports its produce to more than hundred countries of the world.

“Italian business people manifest a high interest to developing cooperation with the Uzbek partners,” said the Commercial Director of Candy Group Massimiliano Marcolini. “In this regard, the favorable environment in Uzbekistan for foreign investors is important. Our main goal is to produce goods that meet international quality requirements while effectively using these opportunities in cooperation with the Uzbek partners, and promote further saturation of inner market with these goods as well as their exports.”
