OREANDA-NEWS. November 25, 2008. M2M Engineering, one of the companies in the M2M Telematica group, received a certificate which confirms its status as a resident in the Special Economical Zone (SEZ)- Dubna. The certificate was awarded to the company on Nov. 20 during the “Special Economical Zone- Dubna- First Steps” 3-rd annual conference.

Currently, 32 companies have SEZ-Dubna resident status. These companies deal with engineering and implementation, development of informational technologies, nuclear-physics and nano-technologies, biotechnologies, design of complicated engineering systems. The latter is planned to be dealt with by M2M Engineering company. Moreover, the company will also develop and enhance regional transport control and monitoring navigational systems as an element of intellectual transport systems (ITS), and SW for these systems. The company will develop user terminals including the terminals with GLONASS / GPS receiver; develop GLONASS / GPS receiver itself; develop and test ITS in the selected site in Dubna.

Igor Kuznetsov, M2M Engineering Director General, believes that involvement in SEZ-Dubna evolution represents a positive step into the future. "The city of Dubna has been a place for science in the country from the time of its foundation. Great inventions are made here; unique projects are being developed. In my view, there is no better place in Russia today for an innovative company”, explains Mr. Kuznetsov.

M2M Telematica, M2M Engineering parent company, entered Dubna several months ago. Within these months, М2М–CityBus system has been used in the city transport buses. The system provides monitoring of the transport parameters: location, speed, stoppage time, fuel level, etc. М2М–CityBus has already proved its effectiveness by decreasing the expenses. The system is to be introduced in the transport of construction companies, cargo-carriers, community services soon.
