OREANDA-NEWS. November 25, 2008. According to the decision of the government, the cabinet initiates corresponding negotiations on allocation of additional funding with the International development association (IDA).

The group of negotiators from Moldova is headed by the deputy minister of economy and commerce Tudor Copaci. He is empowered to sign the credit agreement on behalf of Moldova.

The agreement on the Second power project has been signed on December, 4th, 2003. It provided allocation to Moldova about US37 million for implementation of reforms and modernization of heat power sector of the country, increase of role of Moldova at regional and international electricity markets, re-structuring and increase of efficiency of the heat power sector.
