OREANDA-NEWS. November 25, 2008. The Central Bank of the Russian Federation registered a Branch of LLS “BTA Bank” located in the City of Omsk. It is the tenth in succession branch of BTA Bank and the fourteenth office opened by the Bank in 2008. Before the year end it is intended to open about 10 more branch offices in Moscow and Saint Petersburg, reported the press-centre of BTA Bank.

According to Ms. Elena S. Messerle, Chairman of the Board, the start of operation of the Omsky Branch is one more step in the Bank’s development strategy. “The Bank has ambitious plans. By 2015, according to the long-term development strategy, we are to take no less than 2% of Russia’s banking market and enter TOP-30 banks by the asset size in Russia” – says Elena Messerle.  

The Omsky Branch of LLS “BTA Bank” will service individuals and corporate clients offering them a wide range of credit products and deposits as well as highly technological solutions allowing the Bank’s clients to manage their accounts via the Internet.

The active operation of the Branch in the Omsk banking services market is to start in 2009.
