OREANDA-NEWS. December 01, 2008. The Sverdlovsk Office of the Federal Antimonopoly Service (OFAS Russia) fined "Yekaterinburgnefteproduct" OJSC and "Lukoil-Permnefteproduct" for concerted actions on the oil products market. The companies were fined 6.114.017 Rubles and 22.995.757 Rubles 53 kopecks accordingly, reported the press-centre of FAS Russia.

The Sverdlovsk OFAS Russia found that Yekaterinburgnefteproduct" OJSC and "Lukoil-Permnefteproduct" had been involved in concerted actions for fixing (maintaining) the same prices for the petrol - grades AI-76(80), AI-92, AI-95(96), AI-98 and diesel fuel.

Under Article 14.32 pf the Code of the Russian Federation on Administrative Violations, concerted actions are punishable with fines in the amount of 1 -15% of the company's turnover on the market where the violation occurred.
