OREANDA-NEWS  On 04 December was announced, that according to data of coordinating dispatch center (CDC) “Energy” from the beginning of November of current year a volume of non-contractual intake of electrical energy by Uzbekistan amounted to 22 mln. kW.h.

The systematic disturbances of the contractual net power-flows of the power grids of Central Asia countries regarding expansion of consumption are resulted in division of “North-South” transit of UPS Kazakhstan.

From the beginning of current month there were fixed 123 events of emergency control automatics (АNМ L-5300) operation, 6 of them were with an action on restriction of the consumers of Zhambyl oblast in volume up to 100MW. The power outages were caused by unbalance operation of uzbek power system in the hours of peak load at significant power deficit (to 400MW).

For this reason on 3rd and 11th of November, loss of stability of power grids parallel work was accompanied with division of UPS Kazakhstan on “North-South” transit with the deep energy-consumption constraint: in South zone up to 85 MW, and in Central region in the volume of 285 MW.

“KEGOC” JSC has directed the appropriate notices about necessity of taking actions on providing the balance work and keeping the contractual net power-flows.

“KEGOC” JSC is a system operator of the unified power system of the Republic of Kazakhstan which main objective is to provide stable operation of UPS of Kazakhstan and reliable management of the National Power Grid.

Non-state non-profit institution CDC “Energy” (Tashkent) was created in September of 2003 by the companies of Central Asia countries (“KEGOC” JSC, SJSC “UxbekEnergo”, OJSC “NPG of Kyrgyzstan”, OAHK “Barki Tochik”) for functioning of Integrated Power System (IPS).
