OREANDA-NEWS  On 08 December was announced, that Residents of Irkutsk and its suburbs can choose an electric power tariff which depends on the time of the day.

Irkutsk Electric Grid Company Ltd. informs that The Southern Electric Networks of Irkutsk Electric Grid Company Ltd. have started free-of-charge installation of new electric measuring devices in individual apartment houses of Irkutsk and the city suburbs.
New devices of the accounting of the electric power allow remotely to take readings about actual power consumption. As a result, the invoice is issued on the basis of this indicator, Teleinform Energy of Priangarie reports. In case of malfunction of the device, it will be repaired free of charge. But the main advantage is that the subscriber has an opportunity to change the tariff plan as the counter supports tariffing under three various tariff lines, including day time and night time. The new tariff plan "Differentiation according to the time of the day" was developed for realization of this opportunity; It allows the subscriber to choose the most convenient mode of power consumption and to save on charges for payment for the consumed electric power.

The tariff plan provides for urban population and the equated consumers the one-part tariff of 45 kopecks for 1 kWh, or the tariff which is differentiated by zones (hours) of the day: from 7:00 till 23:00: 57.25 kopecks for 1 kWh; from 23:00 till 7:00: 17 kopecks for 1 kWh of the electric power.

For the urban population living in houses equipped with stationary electric stoves and electric heat installations in accordance with the procedures established by the legislation of the Russian Federations, the following tariffs are offered: one-part differentiated tariff of 31.5 kopecks for 1 kWh: from 7:00 till 23:00: 37.65 kopeck for 1 kWh; from 23:00 till 7:00: 17 kopeck for 1 kWh. The agricultural population and the equated consumers may use one-part tariff of 31.5 kopecks for 1 kWh of the electric power or the differentiated one: from 7:00 till 23:00: 37.65 kopecks for 1 kWh; from 23:00 till 7:00: 17 kopecks for 1 kWh.
