OREANDA-NEWS. December 11, 2008. The new OJSC will be a 100% subsidiary of Atomenergoprom OJSC and will manage the separation enterprises of Russia’s nuclear industry (Angarsk Electrolytic Chemical Combine, Siberian Group of Chemical Enterprises, Ural Electrochemical Integrated Plant, Electrochemical Plant).

“The establishment of the company is part of the measures to enhance the competitiveness of national nuclear companies, to reduce their costs and to introduce single budgeting and investment standards,” says Deputy Director of Atomenergoprom OJSC Vladislav Korogodin.

The key task of the new company is to consolidate the technological, intellectual and financial capacities of separation and sublimation companies and to develop single industrial personnel, corporate and scientific policy.

The formation of the company will be completed in 2009.
