OREANDA-NEWS  On 18 December was announced, that the Russia and CIS Alternative Investments Forum, organized by C5 International, was held on December 9-10, in Moscow. The event became a venue for the market leading companies and big investors. During two days such issues were discussed as attractive and profitable non-traditional asset classes, the most efficient investment strategies relevant in the present market conditions.

One of the major Russian grain processors PAVA was represented by Andrey Igoshin, President of the Company; Sergey Balaenkov, Chief Financial Officer and Galina Balaenkova, International Business Development and IR Director.

Since spring 2007, the Company has been working on the wheat grain fractionation project. Construction of this unique plant is one of the main reasons for PAVA to participate in the Forum.

“The deep wheat processing project (Grainvest) poses certain challenges which have to be solved every day. It is planned to finance the project by own capital and investor capital, including foreign funds. This requires detailed knowledge of the situation on world financial markets, in agricultural and grain processing sectors. These events provide an excellent opportunity to keep updated on all the recent developments”, said Galina Balaenkova.

At the forum, PAVA conducted a number of business meetings and negotiations with potential investors as well as companies from the agricultural industry.
