OREANDA-NEWS. On 22 December 2008 was announced, that in November 2008, 334 consumer goods and services showed a rise in prices, while prices for 77 goods and services either fell or remained unchanged, the National Statistics Committee.

Ninety-nine articles demonstrated an increase in prices below 0.5% month-on-month.

Vegetable oil prices went down 6.4%, international train fees 4.6%, motorcycle prices 3.7%, carrots 3.3%, onions 2.6%, computing machinery 2.5%, bananas 2.4%, construction bricks 2.1%, apples 1.8%, citric fruit 1.7%, digital cameras 1.4%, nuts 1.1% and cement 0.9%.

In November, green onion prices rose 27.3%, cucumber prices 20.2%, paprika prices 11.4%, fat 11%, tomatoes 9.6%, radish 8.9%, melons and watermelons 8.4%, aspirin 7.5%, canned meat 5.61%, pork 4.7%, marsh-mallow 4.42%, beef 4.1%, lard 3.91%, etc.

Metal prices rose 5.7% in November, firewood prices 3.4%, and peat prices 2.6%.

As for consumer services, suburban bus fees increased 27.4% in November, fixed-route taxi fees rose 13.2%, funeral services fees increased 6.4%, disco pass fees rose 5.7%, and heating bills increased 5.2%.

In January-November 2008, gas supply services fees rose 90.9%, rice prices increased 52.6%, cold water supply 38%, painting fees 37.9%, honey prices 36.9%, flour prices 31.4%, electric power supply went up 29.4%, aspirin prices increased 28.5%, cement prices 26%, pasta prices 25.2%, margarine 24.1%, and firewood 23.9%.
