OREANDA-NEWS. On 22 December 2008 was announced, that Belarus’ gross domestic product (GDP) grew 10.8% on the year in January-November 2008 to 116.623 trillion Belarusian rubles (Br), an official with Belarus’ Statistics Ministry.

Industrial output in January-November amounted to 118.872 trillion rubles, showing a 12.7% increase on the year.

Farm output as of December 1, 2008 stood at 25.783 trillion rubles, up 8.9% on the year in the period.

In 2007, Belarus’ GDP grew 8.1% on the year to 96.048 trillion Belarusian rubles. Industrial output amounted to 91.504 trillion rubles, up 8.5% on the year. Farm output increased 4.1% to 17.932 trillion rubles.
