OREANDA-NEWS. On December 22, 2008 Turon Bank launched a new deposit in national currency Ishonch-1 and New Year action among its plastic card holders and owners of trade terminals.

The bank said it receives resources to Ishonch-1 deposit in any points of Turon Bank till 31 December. The deposit term is three month and interest rate was set at 27% APR. Interest rates are paid at the end of deposit's term.

New Year action will be held in three nominations: The Most active user of plastic cards, The Most active user of trade terminals and The Most active enterprise, which introduced salary project.

Individuals and companies, using Turon Bank's plastic cards, are eligible to participate in the contest. Winners of the first place will receive 3 million soums, the second place – 1.5 million and the third place – 500,000 soums.

The drawing ceremony will take place on 6 February 2009 with participation of independent observers.

Turon Bank was founded by Agriculture and Water Management Ministry of Uzbekistan and its subdivisions. The bank works in Uzbekistan from November 1990. The bank has 18 branches and 53 mini-banks in all regions and districts of Uzbekistan.
