OREANDA-NEWS. On January 12, 2009 the monitors and representatives of Eurocommission have launched work on GTS situated in western and southern regions (GTS Drozdovychy, Uzhgorod, Beregovo, Tekovo, Orlivka). The group comprises Andrea Cirlicova (Czech republic), Herbert Bloyble (Austria), Irzi Mizera (Czech republic), Josef Balla (Hungary), Vincenzo Canico (Italy), Tange Mancheque (France).

The experts will familiarize with operation of the stations, technology and methods of calculation and measuring gas. The Ukrainian specialists shall provide them with complete list of data about gas shipments from the Russian territory and its transit in western direction. Handing over the information will be conducted in the presence of accredited Ukrainian and Russian specialists.

Yesterday, late at night one more group of representatives of the EC and accredited Ukrainian and Russian experts visited GTS Pisarevka (Voronezh region, RF). The work of this group got complicated as the head of GTS informed that no official confirming and permission for the work on the station from Gazprom was handed to him. Together with that the monitors and experts were shown the hub of measuring gas while the head of group Gerald Linke (Germany) confirmed to the journalists the fact of absence of gas delivery from the territory of Russian Federation to Ukraine. Now the group is in Ukraine and expects for visas to Russia and official Gazprom permission for work on GTS Pisarevka, Sohranovka, Valuiky.
