OREANDA-NEWS. January 16, 2009. “There are no problems for now with transition of funds to the Pension fund despite the fact that the first decade of January has in general holidays and days off which respectively influences the financial operations,” Minister of Labour and Social Policy of Ukraine Liudmyla Denysova explained.

Besides, according to the Minister the State Budget envisages to cover temporary cash gaps which occur in the process of payment of pensions which guarantees timely remuneration of pensions at any reason. “Payment of pensions is carried out between the 4 and 25 date monthly and by January 15, 2009 the pension was reimbursed for 68.3% pensioners,” Liudmyla Denysova informed.

The Labour Minister emphasized in January the Pension fund had fulfilled work in normalizing the dates of pension payment by elaborating a daily schedule of payments where for every beneficiary an individual date of monthly payment in 2009 was fixed.

“The first turn payments include war invalids, participants of war operations, members of families of the dead officers, non-working invalids and beneficiaries in connection with loss of bread-maker. The last to receive pensions will be employed pensioners,” Liudmyla Denysova imparted.

Earlier the first decade saw the main load in payments. That’s why a decision was taken to evenly distribute the burden on postmen, delivering pensions, and on banks dealing with pensions. The schedule was corrected respectively.
