OREANDA-NEWS. January 20, 2009. Pakhta Bank allocated 83.4 billion soums to small businesses due to own resources of the bank, reported the press-centre of Pakhta Bank.

The share of micro credits in total volume of small and private businesses comprises over 39 billion soums.

Over the half of credit portfolio fell to share of agriculture sector. Share of long-term credits increased, the bank said.

Pakhta Bank issued 16.7 million soums to young families, engaged in private entrepreneurship or farming, of which 5.9 million soums were micro credits.

The bank earmarked 15 billion soums as consumer credits, half of which were issued to young families in 2008.
