OREANDA-NEWS. On 21 January 2009 was announced, that the Mikhailovsky mill bakery that belongs to the structure of PAVA, major Russian grain processor, supplied the local stores with a test batch of bread, baked from protein-enriched flour.

Consumers will have a chance to appreciate the value of the new product with enormous health benefits, as the bread is baked from flour rich in proteins, fats, macro- and microelements, as well as vitamins B1, B2, PP. It also contains fat-soluble E-vitamin (tocopherol) and beta-carotene. Mikhailovsky mill started producing protein-enriched vitaminised flour in December 2008, by a special technology that allows to preserve aminoacids and fibre, vital for human body. Their balance strengthens the nervous system, prevents diseases of the cardiovascular system and kidneys.

The price of bread from protein-enriched flour is much lower compared to the product made of traditional high-grade and first-grade flour. This may naturally influence consumer demand which, in turn, will determine the local needs for this indispensable product.

In the nearest future, the bakery plans to launch production of iodized bread which will be supplied to schools and nurseries of the Mikhailovsky district.
