OREANDA-NEWS. Since January 15th, 2009, the JSC “Aeroflot-Russian Airlines” begins regular flights Moscow – Eilat – Moscow on A320 airplane. With the opening of the new flight to Israel the Aeroflot route network is enlarged to 95 destinations in 48 countries, reported the press-centre of Aeroflot.

The flights will be made to Ovda Airport, located 60km away from Eilat. The booking and sales of the tickets to this direction are open in the Aeroflot counters and the company’s site www.aeroflot.ru.

Flight SU 501 departs from Moscow (Sheremetievo-1) on Thursdays and Sundays at 10.35, arrives in Eilat (Ovda) at 14.00.

Flight SU 502 departs from Eilat (Ovda) on Thursdays and Sundays at 15.00, arrives in Moscow (Sheremetievo-1) at 20.25 (local time).

The opening of the regular air service between Eilat and Moscow will permit to connect the popular, actively developing resort with Moscow and other cities of the Russian Federation.

The new flight will give the residents of both countries additional possibilities for traveling, particularly, taking into account the removal of visas between Russia and Israel. Besides, the Aeroflot’s membership in the global SkyTeam Alliance gives the passengers the access to the alliance network, embracing 905 destinations in 169 countries. Convenient docking and united bonus programs for frequently flying passengers with Aeroflot tickets are valid for all the flights of the airlines – members of the Alliance.
