OREANDA-NEWS. On 23 January 2009 was announced, that investment company “Expert capital” (Estonia), owner of the retail chain “OKEI Ukraine”, is looking for the strategic investor to sell 20% stake of its retail chain.

“OKEI in not on sale, but it is looking for the partner. We believe it will be good for the company, if 20% stake will be sold”, - said director of “OKEi Ukraine” Armen Papazyan. According to his words, OKEi chain cost today around USD160-170M.

Several months before the company was aiming to sell 50% stake. “We stated, that in 2010-2011 our market share will be from 3% to 5%.”We are ready to reach this forecast, but we need for it strategic partner” , says Papazyan.

“if we will not succeed to find strategic partner, then in summer we’ll open in summer one more hypermarket in Simferopol and will stop expansion”, - said general director of “Expert Capital” Raul Parusk.
