OREANDA-NEWS. January 23, 2009.Energy supplying company PES-Energougol (Donetsk) intends to invest UAH 35.355 m (including VAT) into own development in 2009.

The corresponding amount of investment is provided for by the investment programme of the company approved by the National Electricity Regulation Commission.

In particular, the company intends to invest UAH 28.558 m into the construction, upgrading and reconstruction of electric networks and equipment, UAH 3.742 m into the measures to reduce the over-standard electricity losses.

Besides, the company plans to spend UAH 0.783 m on information technologies, UAH 0.167 m on communications and telecommunications systems, UAH1.193 m on transport vehicles purchase and modernization and UAH 0.912 m on other measures.

The total length of PES-Energougol’s networks, located in Donetsk and Dnepropetrovsk Regions, is over 1000 km (0.23-110 кV voltage).

The Company has over 380 step-down substations 6-110 кV and renders its services to more than 25 500 electricity consumers, including coal, machine-building, light and food processing industries, as well as the utility companies, budget organizations and population of the region.

As the agency reported, the investment programme 2008 of PES-Energougol provided for investing UAH 36.12 m into the company’s development.

The Company accomplished 2007 with the net profit of UAH 42.508 m, having increased the net profit by 6.91% against 2006 or by UAH 22.433 m, up to UAH 347.177 m.

PES-Energougol OJSC is incorporated into Donbass Fuel-Energy Company (DTEK, Donetsk) managing the energy assets of SCM.
