OREANDA-NEWS. On January 23, 2009 Azerdemiryol Bank JSC has set a new branch in Baku. The Khazar Branch created in the Rasulzadeh settlement (92 Mammadkhan Street) provides the full range of banking services, including receiving deposits, crediting, settlements, express money transfers, card services, etc., reported the press-centre of Azerdemiryol Bank.

The National Bank licensed the new branch in early 2009.

Azerdemiryol Bank has 31 branches and sub-branches, 13 of them in Baku. The bank will continue to improve its branch network in 2009.

Being one of the first commercial banks of Azerbaijan, Azerdemiryol Bank was set up in 1989.

Its shareholders include the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and FMO.
