OREANDA-NEWS. January 27, 2009. It is necessary to allocate 10bn hryvnias to hold the spring sowing campaign. Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko stated at a meeting with heads of regional state administrations and their deputies on issues of supporting the agro-industrial complex.

Yulia Tymoshenko told that 2.5bn hryvnias of this sum are planned to be obtained due to the corn crop of 2008.

Moreover, minimum 1bn hryvnias will be appropriated for agrarians at the cost of means gained from grain crop selling by the Agrarian Fund.

The Prime Minister also told that 5-6bn hryvnias are to be attracted as banking credits. “That is what we count on from the commercial banks taking into account refinancing,” Yulia Tymoshenko added.

Moreover, the Head of Government stressed, the rest 1.5bn hryvnias which are to be allocated for holding the sowing campaign, should made up the means of local budgets from the return of  earlier granted loans. At that Yulia Tymoshenko called this source dubious, “To tell you the truth, I don’t rely on this source because local budgets are facing very difficult situations and, moreover, I don’t think, to hold the spring-field work we should count on dubious sources”.
