OREANDA-NEWS. January 29, 2009. Vostochnaya Stevedore Company LLC (part of Global Ports Investments Ltd) has opened a new maritime container service APL Eastern Russia Express between Pusan (S. Korea) and Vostochny Port (Primorski Territory). APL is one of the first global ocean carriers to launch its independent service at Russia’s Far East.

Within the framework of the new weekly service the first vessel - APL Hibiscus (453 TEU) - called on the port on January 27.

As of today the following services operate at VSC container terminal:  FESCO Container Sevices Co., Ltd; Sinokor Merchant Marine Co., Ltd..; CK Line Co., Ltd.; Korea Marine Transport Company; Pan Continental Shipping Ltd. и FESCO Lines Vladivostok.

Vostochnaya Stevedore Company LLC is the largest container terminal in the Far East of Russia. It operates at Vostochny port. 25% of the company are owned by port operator DPW, 75% - Global Ports Group (part of N-Trans Group).
