OREANDA-NEWS. January 30, 2009. During their extraordinary meeting on Jan 27 2009 the shareholders of Atomenergoprom OJSC decided to make changes to the charter of the company in connection with an increase in its authorized capital following the placement of additional shares.

As was reported earlier, the Federal Financial Markets Service has registered the report on the results of issue of additional shares of Atomenergoprom OJSC.

The shares have been placed through closed subscription in favor of the state in the framework of the second stage of the consolidation of Atomenergoprom’s assets.

A total of 440,722,037 ordinary shares worth 1,000 RUR each have been placed.

As a result, the authorized capital of Atomenergoprom has grown to 444,122,000,000 RUR divided into 444,122,037 ordinary nominal shares 1,000 each.

During the same meeting the shareholders decided to increase the authorized capital of the company by placing 300,000,000 shares each worth 1,000 RUR (300,000,000,000 RUR). The shares will be placed through closed subscription in favor of Rosatom State Nuclear Energy Corporation.

The Government will pay for the shares by transferring into Atomenergoprom’s authorized capital the shares of 15 federal state unitary enterprises reorganized into open joint stock companies in line with the decree of the President on the reorganization of federal state unitary enterprises into open joint state companies.

The shares are to be placed by Oct 1 2009.
