OREANDA-NEWS. On January 30, 2009 Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko claimed that National Bank of Ukraine to finance the State Mortgage Institution in sum of 1bn hryvnias for crediting the house-building within the nearest time. She informed during the first sitting of the Council on overcoming the consequences of the global financial crisis impact on building sector.

“We have completely worked through with NBU the financing of State Mortgage Institution in sum of 1bn hryvnias. This 1bn hryvnias will be financed through the government securities of mortgage institution within the nearest time,” Yulia Tymoshenko stressed.

The Prime Minister also urged the NBU to provide refinancing of two national banks - Ukreximbank and Oschadbank in sum of 1bn hryvnias for crediting incomplete building. Yulia Tymoshenko reminded that such credits would be granted directly to customers, “It is important for us that obtained credits are repaid. It means that consumers of these incomplete objects, including apartments, are needed.
