OREANDA-NEWS. February 4, 2009. As part of the recent contract, GRASYS will supply a block-container nitrogen station for OJSC Karbolit, the entity specializing in synthetic oils and plastics manufacturer. The nitrogen station to be supplied is designed for purging process equipment and generating inert atmosphere in the circulation line of the two-stage resin and powered bakelite resin process flow.

The station designated for OJSC Karbolit is rated to produce 190 nmі/hr of 98% gaseous nitrogen from atmospheric air. Product nitrogen purity may easily be adjusted during station operation thus ensuring its maximum efficiency. In manufacture of the nitrogen station, the most recent membrane air separation technology was adopted.

Due to the use of advanced design achievements, the station combines compactness and high capacity together with reliability, serviceability and simplicity of operation. GRASYS membrane plants for nitrogen production find the broadest application in the oil and gas industry, at chemical, petrochemical, metal and food industry enterprises and in many other industries.

The MA series of nitrogen stations includes nitrogen production equipment with various technical characteristics optimally selected to best suit operating company needs. Stations capacity varies within the limits of 100 to 5,000 nmі/hr, nitrogen purity — within the limits of 90 to 99.5%, the produced gas pressure is up to 400 atm.
