OREANDA-NEWS. February 5, 2009. In 2008 the appraised value of the clients' assets safekept at DCC went down by 76.3% to constitute USD29.4 bln.

The total value of DCC's operations totaled USD190.4 bln (as per appraised value) following the results of 2008, which shows a 9.7% decrease as compared to the year 2007 (USD 210.8 bln). The total volume of operations fell by 9.7% to constitute 180.7 thousand. The volume of FOP operations made up 94.1 thousand (compared to 105.3 thousand in 2007), while their volume amounted to USD162.3 bln (USD178.5 bln in 2007). In 2008 the value of DVP operations equaled to USD27.7 bln against USD32.0 bln in 2007. The volume of such operations decreased by 8.5% to make up 86.2 thousand against 94.2 thousand in 2007.

In 2008 the total value of operations in share registers declined to equal USD85.5 bln against USD91.0 bln the year before. The volume of depositions moved down to 88.2 thousand (as compared to 134.4 thousand in 2007). The value of such operations decreased to amount to USD50.5 bln (against USD53.3 bln in 2007). As compared to the previous year, the volume of withdrawals has shown a downfall from 25.8 thousand to 24.6 thousand. The value of such operations fell to constitute USD35.0 bln against USD37.7 bln in 2007.

The volume of operations performed via the DCC-NDC Bridge went down from 27.1 thousand to 24.5 thousand. The value of bridge operations made up USD33.9 bln as compared to USD53.2 bln in 2007.
