OREANDA-NEWS. On 06 February 2009 was announced, that IDGC of Centre had summed up the repair campaign for 2008. The amount of expenditure with regard to all repair activities equaled RUR 1,214.92 million.

Within this period, the significant volume of the repair program was executed. Repairs were held at 5,578 km of 35-110 kV overhead lines (OL); complex repairs of 239 substations of 35-110 kV were carried out. Complex repairs were held at more than 18 thousand km of 0.4-10 kV networks and 3,881 transformer substations of 6-10/0.4 kV.

As a whole, IDGC of Centre spent more than RUR 970 million for repairs of 0.4-110 kV power transmission lines and for complex repairs of the 35-110 kV substation equipment, including in the following main areas: repairs of OL-35-110 kV cost RUR 124.76 million; repairs of 0.4-20 kV electric networks cost RUR 650.77 million; repairs of the 35-110 kV substation equipment cost RUR 194.76 million.

In 2008 large-scale works on clearing the routes for overhead lines were held. Reliability of power supplies in regions of the company's responsibility zone in many respects depends on qualitative performance of these works. The IDGC of Centre's branches assigned over RUR 106 million in total for clearing of routes for 0.4-110 kV lines. As a result of the works held, around 9,200 hectares of routes were cleared.
