OREANDA-NEWS. On 06 February 2009 was announced, that the akim of the capital of Kazakhstan thinks that the stable energy- and water supply, the no-break work of canalization system, transport infrastructure are the priority spheres of the further development of Astana.

According to him during the last four years there were allocated more than 48 billion tenge (current 122.32/USD 1).

“One of the next key directions that stipulate the stable development of the capital is the system of water supply and canalization”, said Akim.

“First of all this is the no-break supply of drink water and effective exploitation of construction on the derivation waste water”, emphasized.

Beginning with 2007 it is realize the gig project “Water supply and canalization of Astana city” that is financed at the expense of the loan totaling 43.5 billion tenge granted by Japanese bank of international cooperation.

“From the point of view of the effective functioning of the city the priority task for us is the road-transport infrastructure”, continued I. Tasmagambetov. He said that “there was elaborated the transport strategy the core of which is in the creation of the small transport ring with the length of 26 km”.

“More over the commission of the bridge over Esil River along Kabanbay Avenue was the significant event for the city both in architecture and comfortable traffic plans.”
