OREANDA-NEWS. February 06, 2009. The UEFA delegation led by UEFA General Secretary David Taylor stays in Lviv. Inspectors of the Union of European Football Association have already attended the historical part of the city, a railway terminal and an airport.

During presentation of the project of reconstruction of runway and passenger terminal David Taylor specified information concerning financing of building of the new terminal. Vice Prime Minister Ivan Vasiunyk imparted, in March an investment tender is to start. Besides, the state guarantees financing of construction of the new terminal from the state budget.

While staying in Lviv General Secretary of UEFA David Taylor will also attend construction site of the stadium, readied for the Euro-2012. In the City Hall David Taylor got familiarized with the state of preparation to the Euro-2012, in particular in the sphere of medicine, hotels, transport, fan zones etc.

Within the composition of UEFA delegation in Ukraine Lviv was attended also by Euro-2012 director Martin Kallen, UEFA commercial director Philippe Margraff, head of sponsor committee and championship development Alan Ridley and head of Euro-2012 subdivision for organization of events Lucas Ackermann. Director of Executive Direction of Euro-2012 Ivan Fedorenko also arrived to Lviv.
