OREANDA-NEWS. February 10, 2009. The Government will elaborate and submit for approval by the Parliament a draft law concerning support and development of agricultural cooperations.

A respective commission was formed by Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko during a meeting into issues of agricultural consumer’s cooperations and ensuring access of villagers to trade on municipal markets. According to her, the Gov’t will address the Parliament with a request to consider this document as first-turn the following plenary week.

In addition Yulia Tymoshenko informed at its regular session the Government will approve a complex, laconic, effective Program which is to launch creating of cooperations and open markets for rural inhabitants. The Premier emphasized this Program is to envisage pilot projects of functioning agricultural cooperations.

According to Yulia Tymoshenko, realization of this Blueprint will ensure to simultaneously support other branches of economy in the face of the crisis. The PM emphasized that, for instance, at the account of development of a system of deliveries of agricultural produce to wholesale and retail markets a transport domain will be improved, while construction of trade facilities of light construction will maintain sales of national metal production.
