OREANDA-NEWS. On 11 February 2009 was announced, that in 2008 the power sources of JSC “Far Eastern Generating Company” (JSC “FEGC”) have produced kWh 20.7 bill of electric power – on 2.84 % over plan, and on 6.87 % over the 2007 production. The sale of heat power is Gcal 21.7 mil: it has remained at the level of the previous year, despite of the comparatively short heating period of 2007-2008.

The biggest raise of production was registered in the branches of JSC “FEGC”, located in the south of Republic of Sakha (+11.9%) and in Amurskaya oblast (+9.4%), that was related to regular repair of intersystem power transmission lines, and also non-favourable hydrologic situation and, respectively, increase of the load onto thermal generating capacities of the Far Eastern region.

The electric power production increase occurred at the CHPPs of the Company in Primoriye (over 5% as compared with 2007) is related mainly to active raise of the power consumption in the south of the krai. In Khabarovsky krai the raise of the electric power production is 3.8%.

In 2008 the companies of JSC “Far Eastern Generating Company” performed more efficient: with less consumption of electric power have produced more power to customers. This is the result of goal-oriented work of management and operational personnel of the Company for optimization of generating equipment operation.

We remind you, JSC “Far Eastern Generating Company” is the 4th largest for installed capacity (5,850 MW/11,574 Gcal) TGC in Russia. It consists of 15 power stations and 5 large boiler shops, located in five constituent territories of RF (Amurskaya and Jewish Autonomous oblasts, Khabarovsky and Primorsky krais, in the south of Republic of Sakha (Yakutia).
