OREANDA-NEWS. On 16 February 2009 was announced, that the International Specialized Exhibition AviationFuelsSupply-2009 was held February 9 through 11, 2009 at the Crocus Expo International Exhibition Centre.

The International Specialized Exhibition AviationFuelsSupply-2009 was officially supported by the Airport Association of the Civil Aviation.

The exhibition aims to become a regular branch review of achievements of national enterprises and organizations working in the sphere of aviation fuels supply. The project was launched in 2007 and two years after the project revival took place.

It should be noted that the exhibition was purposefully timed to the Civil Aviation Day. Viktor Gorbachev, Director General of Airport Association of the Civil Aviation, Semion Volfzon, Chairman of the Committee on Aviation Fuels and Oils of Airport Association of the Civil Aviation, Ruprecht von Gwinner, President Mess- und Fordertechnik (Germany), Alexander Shmelkov, Director of Egorievsk Civil Aviation Technical College, and Arkady Zlotnikov, First Deputy Director Crocus Expo IEC, participated in the Official Opening Ceremony of the AviationFuelsSupply International Specialized Exhibition.

The largest national companies which have already proved their competitiveness and stability in the fuelling market, airports' fuel and oil supply services of Russia and the CIS countries, manufacturers of process and engineering equipment, suppliers of aviation fuel and oil products and special liquids will be presented at the exposition of the exhibition. The latest achievements and technologies of aircrafts refueling will be displayed at the event. A number of aviation refueling and other special devices were sold right on site.

The show was visited by about 4 000 people: Russian and foreign experts, representatives of airports' fueling and oil services. It should be specially noted that quite a number of foreign specialists from Great Britain, Germany, Japan and Kazakhstan visited AviationFuelsSupply exhibition. Professionals had an opportunity to familiarize with technological equipment for aviation fuels supply, mobile fuel servicing trucks and systems, means of aviation fuel and oils filtration, safety systems, fire preventive and rescue means. Moreover a wide range of special clothing and accessories were also presented to visitors and experts.

About 30 companies from Moscow and the Moscow region, Nizhniy Novgorod, Perm and also companies from Germany and Ukraine exhibited at the exhibition AviationFuelsSupply-2009. The overall exhibit space will constitute 1 500 sq m. The exhibition featured particular focus on educational and methodological basis of civil aviation. Traditionally free expositions were granted to all educational institutes, colleges and technical schools educating future specialists for the civil aviation industry. This year the Moscow State Technical University of Civil Aviation and Egorievsk Civil Aviation Technical College presented their stands.

The exhibitors are quite satisfied with the exhibition outcome. More than 70% of exhibitors intend to participate in the next edition. According to the feedback from specialists of the key players of the aviation fuels supply market as PROTEGO, TekhProm, FAUDI, Agregat and SpetsTekhnika GRAZ the exhibition was commercially efficient because they carried a number of important negotiations with Russian and foreign specialists which were concluded by cooperation agreements and new contracts.

The organizer of the business program of the exhibition was the Committee on Aviation Fuels and Oils of Airport Association of the Civil Aviation. Reports aiming to elaborate common principles, procedures and requirements related to aviation fuels and oils supply in civil aviation were made within the frames of the sessions. Top managers and leading specialists from entities and companies involved into fuels and oils supply business will participate in the sessions. The informational conference Aviation Fuels Supply Technology and Technical Means organized by the Committee on Aviation Fuels and Oils of Airport Association of the Civil Aviation was held February 10, 2009. The 38th session of the Committee on Aviation Fuels and Oils of Airport Association of the Civil Aviation took place February 11 with the frames of the business program of the exhibition AviationFuelsSupply.

The next edition of the exhibition of aviation fuels profile will be held February 9 through 11, 2010 at the Crocus Expo International Exhibition Centre.
