OREANDA-NEWS. On 16 February 2009 was announced, that Transaero Airlines has once again successfully passed audit procedures for compliance with the IATA Operational Safety Audit (IOSA). IOSA certification is based on the highest international operational safety standards and indicates a company’s adherence to a wide range of IATA requirements.

Transaero Airlines passed its first IOSA compliance audit in 2007. In December 2008 Transaero has successfully undergone the second audit. On February 9, 2009, on the official IATA web site it was announced that Transaero’s IOSA certification was extended to 24 February, 2011.

Flight safety has always been number one priority in Transaero’s activities and the prolongation of IOSA certificate only confirms it.
