OREANDA-NEWS On 18 February 2009 was announced, that Moscow Mayor Yuri Luzhkov opened a new building of the arbitration tribunal in the Russian capital.

The courthouse is located at the junction of the third ring road and Bolshaya Tulskaya Street. This is an 11-storey building with a substructure. In the meantime Moscow's arbitration tribunal is operating on 10 Novaya Basmannaya Street.

The structure design enables to improve the working conditions of the judicial manpower and it also will provide convenience and security. The public area of the arbitration tribunal comprises 92 courtrooms, an information desk, chancery, 772-capacity conference room, mixed-use sports hall, gym, canteen, coffee bar, museum, personnel department.

“The crisis is currently felt by everyone. If we only complain of hard times and stop making progress, developing, solving the issues of support for the real economy, we will impoverish the city,” Mr Luzhkov said at the courthouse opening ceremony.

According to the mayor, today’s priority is to support businesses in strategic sectors.
