OREANDA-NEWS  On 19 February was announced, that the International Monetary Fund shares the position of the Government and the Verkhovna Rada in the view of the current deficit of the State Budget for 2009. The First Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine Olexandr Turchynov announced during the briefing at the Cabinet of Ministers on Wednesday.

“I have read the letter from leaders of the International Monetary Fund. It contains support of the stance of the Government and the Verkhovna Rada with regards to the current deficit of the State Budget,” Olexandr Turchynov told and added the current deficit of the State Budget is not problem.

According to the First Prime Minister, the leaders of IMF expressed concern with regards to non-coordinated actions and conflicts in Ukrainian politics: “We also view all the Ukrainian authorities should unite with opposition forces in order to implement urgent antirecessionary measures”.
