OREANDA-NEWS. On 19 February 2009 was announced, that the flour of “Extra” grade produced by one of major Russian grain processors PAVA is enjoying widespread popularity in Uzbekistan and Tatarstan. This tendency can be seen, for instance, in the steady collaboration with Tatarstan receiving railcar shipments of flour virtually every month. There are multiple contracts regarding “Extra” flour sales with Uzbekistan as well. It is natural that manufacturers and wholesalers of both Republics should prefer this sort. “Extra” suits the highest national quality standards (GOST) and is perfect for the confectionery industry. It is used in production of national dish pelmeni, and even yeast-raised puff pastry such as layered cakes and croissants.

The flour that the Altay grain processor ships to its partners in Uzbekistan and Tatarstan is mainly used in production of pasta. Special qualities of “Extra” flour prevent noodles, lagman and other goods from boiling soft; give them excellent aroma and delicious taste.

“Extra” grade flour is produced on Mikhailovsky mill, which is one of PAVA’s structural units. Its processing capacity stands at 450 tonnes of grain per day. Besides “Extra”, the range of products includes flour of GOST 511-89-2003; all-purpose flour; high, first and second grades; semolina and bran.

Currently, Mikhailovsky mill also manufactures the unique protein-enriched flour Zhitnitsa which retains all beneficial components stored in wheat grain, owing to special milling methods which are close to nanotechnologies. The highly nutritious content of Zhitnitsa makes it a dietary product with outstanding health value.
