OREANDA-NEWS. On 20 February 2009 was announced, that a new railway line of the Moscow Metro called Khodynskaya is to be built within the development of Moskva-City business centre, the other operating line, Kalininskaya, will be extended to it.

According to City Hall’s decree that was considered at the session on February 17, the Kalininskaya line will be extended to Moskva-City. This development will include the construction of two new metro stations. Later on the line will be developed in the direction of Solntsevo (township of western Moscow). The Khodynskaya line (the third transit point) to reach Savyolovskaya station and its depot are to be built as well. Another five stations are to be put up within the business centre.

The document says the Kalininskaya line will branch out into the other one to be developed along Zvenigorodsky Avenue, three new stations are to be open on it.

Besides, it is planned to erect car parks at the approach roads to Moskva-City to overcome the shortage of parking lots in Moscow’s international business centre.
