OREANDA-NEWS. February 20, 2009. A new branch of Azerbaijan’s Rabitаbank started working in Agjabedi region (add: Azi Askanov St).

“As well as other our branches, this one will render a full range of banking services for individuals and legal entities, inclduing acceptance of deposits, cash settlemetn service, disbursal of consumer and business loans, money transfers, issue of plastic cards and other bank products,” it wsa reported.

With opening of the Agjabedi branch, quantity of Rabitabank’s cusotmer sevice points has reached 18 branches and 1 sub-branch. Six of the branches are operating in Baku and 13 ones cover all large regions of the country. Rabitabank has branches in Baku, Sumgait, Ganja, Lankaran, Shemakha, Sheki, Kurdamir, Nakhchivan, Guba, Gusar, Khachmaz, Shamkir, Shirvan, Agjabedi.

Rabitabank has been operating since 1993 and as of 31st December 2008 its assets totaled AZN 94 million and charter capital AZN 15 million. The Bank is a member of Azerbaijan Deposit Insurance (ADIF), an agent of the National Entrepreneurship Support Fund (under Ministry of Economic Development) and Azerbaijan Mortgage Fund (under National Bank).
