OREANDA-NEWS  On 20 February was announced, that Sviaz-Bank’s branch in Birobijan, East Siberia, celebrated its 15 years in banking. This past January 1, the branch had 129 million rubles in balance value and over 50 million rubles in the accounts of its corporate customers.

The biggest customers of the Bank’s Birobijan branch include the Jewish Autonomous Region’s FPSO (Federal Postal Service Office), the regional Oblenergoremont State Enterprise, the regional Project Estimate Office State Enterprise, and the regional Birobijanskaya Telephone Station State Enterprise, among others.

Joined by the Post of Russia FSUE, Sviaz-Bank is successfully implementing a program to make financial services more accessible through post offices. At present, 12 post offices in the region accept funds in deposit accounts, and another 19 can dispense cash on bank cards of the VISA International, MasterCard International, and Union Card payment systems through Sviaz-Bank’s terminals, which charge no extra fees.
