OREANDA-NEWS  On 20 February was announced, that Sviaz-Bank’s branch in Kirov, Ural, marked its 15th anniversary. Over this period, the branch has attained the following performance results to show for its efforts: this past February 1, it had 529 million rubles in balance value, 483 million rubles in the balances of its corporate customers’ accounts, and more than 29 million rubles in the balances of its depositors’ accounts. The branch provides services to over 14,000 customers and on upward of 700 accounts of corporate and self-employed customers.

The Kirov branch's principal corporate customers are branches of the Post of Russia FSUE the Federal Postal Service Office (FPSO) of Kirov Region, FPSO of the Republic of Komi, and FPSO of the Nenets Autonomous District. The Bank’s major network customers are connected to the Customer Settlement Center that allows the Bank to manage the accounts opened by an organization’s structural units and optimize their cash flows.

The Bank has seven divisions in Kirov Region, in particular, the central office, an auxiliary office, and five mini-branches operating from post offices. Beginning in January 2009, the local branch has been offering pensioners an opportunity to credit their pensions to Pension Plus deposit accounts. Today, 575 post offices in Kirov Region accept funds in Sviaz-Bank’s deposit accounts.

Sviaz-Bank’s Kirov branch was among the first lending institutions in the region to start issuing and processing bank cards. The branch issued its first Union Card payment system card within the framework of the wage payment project with Kirov Region’s FPSO in May 1998.

By now, the Kirov branch has issued over 12,000 bank cards, with balances in the bank card holders accounts exceeding 40 million rubles. Cash is dispensed at seven automated teller machines, 39 cash dispensing points in Kirov City (32 points on the premises of post offices), and another 100 points at post offices across Kirov Region.

The Kirov branch makes instant money transfers through the Blizko and MoneyGram systems, transfers from holders’ accounts, and transfers for walk-in customers in rubles and foreign currencies, performs currency exchange and conversion transactions, and transactions through electronic document exchange and remote account maintenance systems (Customer-Bank and Megapay systems).
