OREANDA-NEWS  On 20 February was announced, that the Delegation of the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS Russia) headed by Mr. Andrey Tsarikovskiy, Stats-Secretary- Deputy Head of the FAS Russia, visited the Peoples Republic of China on February 9-13, 2009.

During the visit to Changchun on the 10th of February 2009 the meeting with Vice-Minister of State Administration for Industry and Commerce (SAIC) of China Mr. Fu Shuangjian, meetings with the Authority of Jilin and Heilongjiang AICs of China, as well as meeting with the Jilin Local Government' delegation and Mr. Ma Junqing, Vice Governor of Jilin Province took place in Jilin Administration for Industry and Commerce (Jilin AIC China).

Participants of the meeting discussed the progress in implementation of the Program on cooperation in the field of countering of unfair competition, antimonopoly policy and advertising regulation between Heilongjiang AIC China and frontier Regional Offices of the FAS Russia, signed last June.

Also, the parties paid special attention to perspectives of further development of cooperation between frontier regional offices of the FAS Russia and SAIC China

During the meeting the representatives of the China underlined the importance of studying of Russian experience in implementation and improvement of the Russian antimonopoly legislation in the process of economic reforms.

In his tern, Mr. Andrey Tsarikovsky, Stats-Secretary- Deputy Head of the FAS Russia noted that "for Russia it is also very important to study the experience of China - one of the main economic partners of Russia and one of the most significant participants of the international economic relations".

Summarizing the official meeting the Program on cooperation in the field of countering of unfair competition, antimonopoly policy and advertising regulation between Jilin AIC China and Vladivostok Regional Office of FAS Russia was signed.

Besides, on the 12th of February 2009 in Beijing the meeting on the issues of bilateral cooperation in the field of competition policy and the BRIC International Competition Conference (Kasan, Russia, September 2009) was held.

"Participation in such events allows to establish more close links with representatives of foreign competition authorities, as well as to share our experience in solving the most severe problems of enforcement and competition policy realization", - underlined Mr. Tsarikovskiy.
