OREANDA-NEWS  On 24 February was announced, that in 2008, Ukio banko lizingas maintained a stable growth of the main indicators. At the end of 2008, the value of the company's financial portfolio – client credit liabilities – exceeded LTL 323 million, which is 20 percent more compared to LTL 270.3 million at the end of 2007. Last year, Ukio banko lizingas signed 139,000 new agreements. Last year signed agreements were 10 percent higher in value compared to those signed in 2007. Presently, Ukio banko lizingas takes around 38 percent of the total retail leasing market.

“Ukio banko lizingas financial results for the last year demonstrate our abilities to offer sale by instalment services that meet the market situation, a well-developed client service network and well-timed campaigns at our business partners’ shops and shopping centres to our clients even under the most difficult economic conditions. This year our plan is to expand our service distribution channels and create yet more favourable conditions for using Ukio banko lizingas services to the clients. Our company will continue orienting itself on financing household, computer, video and audio equipment, furniture and construction material sale by instalment,” Mindaugas Valanиius, Ukio banko lizingas managing director, said.

In the words of Ukio banko lizingas managing director, last year major attention was paid to the development of new financing products. Last year, Ukio banko lizingas introduced a new service “Pinigai dabar!” (Money Now) that is provided in the shops of the most popular trade networks of Lithuania. “The clients who used this new service were provided with the opportunity to very quickly receive a consumer loan. Some shops grant the loan in cash, others – by a transfer to the client’s account. This service received attention from the clients as this is a swift and simple way of receiving a loan for any personal needs,” Mr Valanиius said.

With the start of the heating season Ukio banko lizingas offered smaller instalments to its clients. “During the heating season, we have granted the possibility of reducing instalments in half to the clients buying any good or service by instalment. With the growth of prices for heating we have put forward financial solutions allowing the clients to allocate their expenses,” Ukio banko lizingas managing director said.

Presently Ukio banko lizingas services are available in more than 3,000 places of sale throughout Lithuania.
