On 26 February 2009 Integra Group (LSE: INTE) announced that its equipment manufacturing subsidiaries Uralmash-Drilling Equipment (URBO), Tyumen Shipbuilding Plant (TSZ) and Stromneftemash (STM) have received certificates confirming compliance of their quality management systems with ISO 9001:2000 standard.

Vitaly Tkachev, Executive Vice-President for Equipment Manufacturing of Integra Group commented:

“We did a lot to improve the existing quality management system and achieve conformity with international requirements. ISO 9001:2000 certificate is the first stage of quality management system optimization. At present, we are implementing API Q1 specification requirements of American Petroleum Institute for quality programs of companies operating in the oil, petrochemical and gas industries.”

“The certification audit was conducted by the Moscow representative office of Moody International Group, a leading global supplier of management system certification, technical and inspection services.”
