OREANDA-NEWS  On 26 February Prime Minister of Ukraine, Yulia Tymoshenko announced the Government is guided in its activity by the strategic plans, notably anti-recessionary. She announced in the course of her meeting with heads of the regional councils.

“Today we have a strategic blueprint through 2030, a plan of social-economic transformations within the state through 2020, a large-scale anti-recessionary plan through 2015, approved by the Government but held up in the Parliament,” the Premier stressed.

The Prime Minister urged, the Government will be cooperating with the regions in order to elaborate regional programs on energy supplies and diversification. As Yulia Tymoshenko put it, such regional plans would be supported by investments and the budget funds.

Besides, Yulia Tymoshenko reminded the Government had resumed large-scale building activity connected with putting Dniester hydro-accumulating plant in exploitation. According to her, none of the antecedent governments had invested into this object: “they were trying to privatize this object only, the same figures, dealing with RosUkrEnergo”.

Yulia Tymoshenko explained owing to the efforts of the incumbent Government first lines of the Dniester hydro-accumulating plant had been triggered. “For three years to come we will have more powerful Dniester hydro-accumulating plant and the country will have a new regulating capacity,” the Prime Minister assured.

Moreover, according to her, the Government has been financing works to complete the Khmelnytsky NPP.
